Wish me LUCK!!

I love these Beijing Olympics Friendlies so much!! I just found out that each of them has different meanings, and when you say their names at the same time, it will become as Chinese version of "Beijing welcomes you" which is so amazing! I love the yellow one the most. Her name is Ying Ying :) Hope they are bringing me luck!!!

2008 Beijing Olympics

Finally here comes the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Everytime I see the report or the news of Beijing Olympics park, I feel so pround that I am a Chinese and I grew up with a strong Chinese background. I feel so pround of Chinese culture. When I first heard this commercial song "Beijing Welcomes You", I almost cried. I was so touched. Hope that the era of Chinese will come soon! :)

黃靖倫

Hello. 和剛成立這個Blog時相比，發現最近有點偷懶 :D

最近又迷上了看超級星光大道，真的真的好喜歡黃靖倫的聲音。發現自己其實常常喜歡上高音的男聲，想想是從喜歡上Lee Ryan開始吧 :) I miss his voice so much...



這首歌老實說第一次聽的時候並沒有讓我印象深刻，但反覆聽了幾次後卻會上癮，腦海中會無時無刻不浮現這首歌的旋律，真的很不可思議。梁文音的聲音也依舊這麼美 :)





和偶像合唱果然不同凡響，情緒比較有起伏，有比較激動 :D

The Final Week

經過三天在Computer Lab裡的連續轟炸後，ED 11A portfolio 總算是完成了。雖然印表機出了點差錯...anyway...又到入學期的尾聲了，finals也續勢旦旦地等著我們迎接挑戰。然而最難熬的日子我覺得就在final來之前的幾天吧...雖然學校已停課了, 可是卻還無心讀書...腦中也會不斷想起這學期的種種回憶...總是讓我很想哭....真的很捨不得我的GSI, 同學和教授... :'(

Lucky Me

今天下課後Jessica, Gina 和我緊抓著 Dave 不放請教他對我們各自the Beat movement memorial model 的看法與意見，Dave 果然是個好人，誠懇又認真地分別對我們三個人的memorial作 critiq，還給了我們課外的 information 作為 referance, 真的很感動。 就連輪到最後的我時，也耐心的給我意見和批評指教，過程中一直拿著我的 sketch model 作360度旋轉，最後還把它解體，可說是用盡了各種方法和我一起 brain storming, 獲益匪淺啊!!

今天也總算真正見識到了 Dave 的功力與創意，和我們分享了很多 break through 的 idea, 也聽他訴說了他 undergrad 時的作品和表現手法，聽他說他是從 Arizona State 畢業的，聽他說那裡的 Archi Undergrad 相當不錯，有機會真想去見識見識 :)

現在想想覺得自己真的很幸運，連續兩個學期都能遇到這麼好的 GSI, 而且 Luke 和 Dave 兩人的 Style 也很相近，都會認真聽我們的 design idea, 並適當的給予疑問和意見，從不強勢的加自己的觀點於別人的作品上，總是用啟發性的引導，真的很棒! They are really amazing :) 而且現在和Dave 也比較熟悉了，有時用眼神便能傳達訊息，真是有默契啊 :D
